Thank you for your interest in joining NeuroNest. We specialize in providing thoughtful, patient care for neurodiverse children, including those on the autism spectrum.

Our mission is simple: to support families with compassionate, trained sitters who truly understand and connect with each child.

 As a sitter, you become part of a team that values empathy, calm, and consistency. You’re not just a babysitter—you’re a trusted partner in a family’s support system.

We’re looking for sitters who are:

  • Patient, nurturing, and calm under pressure

  • Experienced with children, ideally those with sensory or behavioral needs

  • Strong communicators with parents and kids

  • Open to feedback and willing to learn

  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

  • Able to commit to consistency with matched families

 The Matching Process

Apply – Complete our sitter interest form and tell us about your experience and availability.

Interview – We’ll set up a relaxed, friendly conversation to learn more about you and your caregiving style.

Offer & Paperwork – If it feels like a good fit, you’ll receive an offer email with next steps, including contracts and required documents to review and complete.

Training – Once paperwork is finished, you’ll complete NeuroNest’s required trainings so everyone is aligned on safety, values, and how we support families.

Get Matched- We’ll connect you with a family that aligns with your skills and schedule. You’ll always have the chance to meet them before starting.

       • Communicate openly with parents and coordinators
